Before you record

You have the right to ask to record meetings about care and services, but recording laws vary by state. Some require everyone in the room to agree. Tell the participants you are recording before you start, and get their okay. Your acknowledgement is stored with the recording.

I have informed everyone in the meeting that it is being recorded, and I have their consent where my state requires it.
